Automated Sliding Gates are an easy and reliable first line of defense. Sliding gate motor repairs may be done on-site, and because all sliding gate motors have roughly 8 parts, we can strip and replace all of them on-site, including the electrical motor parts.
Ensuring your gate’s weight does not exceed the gate motor’s specified weight, which applies to all brands. If the gate is too heavy for the gate motor’s recommended pulling load, the gate motor will be strained, resulting in costly repairs.Always double-check that your gate was weighted and tested for its intended use.
When compared to swing gates, sliding gates provide the fastest and safest movement. A sliding gate is the best option for ultimate security.
We offer turbo gate motors that can close large gates with unprecedented speed and force, ensuring that the cycle is not disrupted.
All sliding gate motors should be installed or repaired by a gate professional, preferably someone who has received training in the field.
If you are looking to automate your gate opening and closing then give us a call to get your free quote. Gate automation is not only convenient but it also is better for security. You do not have to get out of your car to open the gate which prevents easy driveway hi-jacking.
We also offer anti-theft cages and brackets.
Knowing which “gate operator” to use for your gate can be difficult, and making the wrong decision can lead to frequent and unnecessary motor repairs.
Residential sliding gate motors or gate operators are only guaranteed for a certain number of running cycles per day and should not be used for complex on high traffic gates. Residential gate motors are usually up to 100 cycles per day, with some even going as low as 50 cycles per day; if you run the motor more than that, the guarantee will expire. Industrial or commercial sliding gate motors or “gate operators” are used in high traffic senarios and high cycle applications where gates can open or close upto 10000 times daily. Malls and hospitals are great examples of these applications
Make sure your gate’s weight does not exceed the gate motor’s recommended weight. If the gate is too heavy for the gate motor’s recommended pulling load, the gate motor will be strained, resulting in costly repairs.
We recommend that you talk to our trained professionals so we can do an assessment for you and help you choose the right motor.

This operator can be used on a normal +/- 6 meter Sliding gate that open and close +/- 150 openings per day with a pull force of +/- 30 Kg. The operator is a 24 volt system with a 6.5 Ah battery. The unit comes with 2x remotes, baseplate, learning stoppers, instruction manual and 50ml oil to be put into the gearbox before operation. There is a one year guarantee on the electrical and electronic components and two years on the mechanical parts and workmanship.
The GEMINI 24V DC sliding gate motor is a self-contained unit, which comprises a single 24 Volt direct current electrical motor that drives the rack pinion through a reduction gearbox. The base box is secured to the base plate, which in turn is cemented or bolted to a concrete base. Our 24V DC Sliding gate motor is battery driven which gives you backup in case of a power outage. The programming of the motor is hassle-free and it’s easy to install. Examine if your breaker is operating before anything at all else Remove the box off of your gate motor and verify if there is anything on the LED screen or if any of the other lights are on. This will show you if there is power going to your gate motor or not. If there are lights on you might possibly have a remote control trouble the batteries could be flat or maybe damaged.
This trouble is most often induced by oil leaks in the motor which induce the sensor to slip. To solve this problem you need to contact a technician who will clean the oil and receive your motor working again.
If you have tried changing the battery and checked that the gate motor operates with other remotes then you have an issue with your remote control. Call us and we can deliver and program a new remote controller for you.
